The Golden Gate Bridge is a magnificent structure.  There are very few things in the world that please the eye or challenge the mind like that bridge. It’s hard to understand exactly what holds it up.  But, the bridge has a dark history as well.  It seems to invite distraught people to climb over the rails and jump to their deaths. And somehow, the tragedy of those deaths is part of its beauty. There doesn’t seem to be a complete list of the people who have committed suicide from the Golden Gate. I need to figure it out from California public records to finish my TV project.

Since I am new to this sort of thing, and although I knew I was going to have the executor duties to my father’s estate, I am at a loss as to what I need to do to head this up. For one, how does the lawyer, the funeral home, the hospital, etc get paid out of the will? Do I have to front these bills on the hope that I will get paid out of the will? I have to admit that I am a huge TV fan. I love the criminal science shows. I think it is amazing that the people in the labs can learn so much about crime scenes using science in a lab. Now, I am curious about laboratory technician training. I would love to be one of those people that help solve crimes or fight diseases or do something to help people using science and technology. I am thinking about taking some online courses so that I can pursue a career in this field. Even if it means that I have to admit that TV inspired me!

Even for a city slicker like myself, farm blogs are an interesting read.  When you have lived in a industrialized area your whole life you tend to forget there is a different way of life out there.  Reading these blogs keeps me grounded and helps me to be thankful for the food I take for granted.  It is good to know about the people who work diligently to assure this country has our own food sources.  After perusing these entries, it makes me look at the meat and produce sections with different eyes.  I am glad to acknowledge the hardworking Americans who put those items on my grocer’s shelves.
