I am going to be designing the apartment for my friend and his wife.  They have just gotten married, and they are filthy rich from a lottery ticket that they bought on their honeymoon.  They will probably have a movie made about them.  They told me to make sure that the bathrooms each have small deep bathtubs, and full showers. I can’t complain about them giving me this opportunity.  I am making quite a bit of money off of this job.  They said that they would even throw in a bonus when the job is complete if everything looks right.  I know it will.

Today I went down the street to talk to our neighbor and I saw that he was getting his deck stained. The company that was doing it was the same one that did ours and they did a very nice job on ours. The kind of stain they were using for his deck was different than ours. The kind they were using for his was called Defy extreme stain. It was a clear stain, or it looked that way, because I could not see it at all on the wood. Defy extreme stain is also supposed to last very long, he told me.

Its hard to do household work when you’re taking care of a baby.  My five month-old daughter in particular likes to cry whenever she feels that I’m not at her side.  However, we mothers know that although it’s healthy to cuddle your baby, it’s not very practical when you’re alone in the house.  This type of situation also makes it difficult for women like us to attend to our partners; and sadly some men aren’t willing to be hands-on dads and even demand for attention though they know that you already have your hands full.  So, if you don’t want to neglect yourself, your home, and your other half because your baby demands bulk of your time, I suggest using a baby swing.  This contraption will allow you to look after your child while doing other things.  I prefer Graco infant swings. I called my son this morning and he was telling me about a house he and his wife are buying.  They have been renting a small apartment for several years and found a real good deal on a foreclosure a few miles from my house.  He said it needs a little work but he can do most of it himself and save some money.  There is a patio in the back yard and it is fenced in so his dog will have a place to run.  I told him that I have some garden furniture he can have for the patio and I have the covers that go with it.

As soon as I heard that we were going to be going to visit my grandmother, I got really excited.  She and I have kindred spirits.  We are always talking about going to flea markets, antique stores, re-sale shops, and things like that.  And every time that I visit, she gives me something.  The last time we were there, she gave me a Luxury Bedding set that was given to her years and years ago.  It is the nicest gift that anyone has ever given me.  I hope that I can be just like her someday.  She has such a beautiful spirit.
