New Music and Young People
We’ve been going over to University Church on Sunday mornings and I’m really loving it. They use a lot of new music in the liturgy, so it’s a lot more upbeat and spiritual than what we’re used to here in town. Of course, they probably do that partly for the students, and they’ve got a lot of talented kids from the music department that participate. The pianist is just incredible.
The priest is young, and he keeps things pretty lively too. To be honest, I have to struggle to stay awake sometimes with Father John.
Nice change of pace, anyways.
